Hobbies

I grew up in Seminole, Florida. I attended St. Petersburg College as a Dual-Enrollment high school student before heading to Christendom College in Front Royal, Virginia in 2006. Music has always been an inseparable part of my life. I grew up playing the piano by ear at the age of 6 before having lessons starting at age 10. Eventually, I went on to learn the organ at age 13 in addition to learning to sing and direct. In college, I taught myself the guitar as well. Having four brothers, we grew up constantly playing sports. I love basketball, especially, and played four years in College (Division III) and was a frequent starter and team captain. I have been studying and working in Europe since 2010. I love to travel and learn about new cultures, languages and ways of thinking. I speak French, Spanish and some Italian and have studied Latin and Ancient Greek. I originally learned French from the Alliance Francaise and my years of study in Florence, were entirely in French. I am easy-going and serious at the same time -- and above all, a realist. Tutoring to me is about guiding someone to find their own way to success, by positive encouragement, guidance and then instruction when necessary. If you let me know what your goals are, we can definitely come up with a realistic plan and solution to your needs! I am looking forward to hearing from you!
